These programs help students to perceive qualities in people, objects, and events; and to learn to respond and use them in visual expressions. It acquaints students with aspects of visual structure, enabling them to understand what others have created. Finally, this series helps students discriminate among characteristics of art media, and shows how skill and control of media can contribute to the expressiveness of visual images. (c 1988)
