1- The ITV New School Year Packet 2010-11 and September ITV Update are combined this year. You will be receiving a copy in the mail around August 23. The packet is posted online at the ITV Web site www.itv.scetv.org if you want to view it now. The "Splash" Weeks schedule and regular schedules usually in the monthly ITV Update are located near the back of this packet. Please use the flyers in the packet to alert your teachers to these FREE K-12 resources, SCDE Professional Development, ITV recertification courses, StreamlineSC Updates, PBS Kids programs, and much more!

2- The ITV Links 2010-11 are being mailed to schools starting Monday, August 16. If you do not receive your copies - one for each teacher - please contact Bonnie in ITV at 1-877-885-5272 or mcmurray@scetv.org.

3- The ITV Preview Schedule Starts August 23 with selected repeats from Pre-2009 and New/Revised 2009-10. The NEW and revised programs air September 7-17. The complete schedule will be posted online by August 16 at www.itv.scetv.org

4- The "Splash" Weeks, when ITV will again new programs (including some not ready by September 7th week) and all series with Limited Rights (those that ITV can only air once in the fall and repeat only in January or February), start September 20 through October 1.

5- Dr. Rex will host a LIVE Statewide Virtual Faculty Meeting on either September 13 or 20 at 4:00 p.m. on channel 1. Information is announced in the ITV New School Year/September ITV Update packet. ITV will announce exact date in NEWSFLASH as soon as we know which date this important program will be presented.

6- Be sure to check out ITV's exciting science series Riverbanks Roundup on ETV the last Friday of every month at 5:00 p.m. - History of Riverbanks airs August 27 at 5:00-5:27 p.m.! Always airs for schools the following week so for this edition - August 31, 10:00-10:27 a.m. on channel 1. (Unlimited rights) SL
